DISCOVERY HOUSE PROGRAMMING

POLAR BEAR DEN

Kids ages 2 – 5 and their adult buddies
Wednesdays • 10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Children $3; Adults and Members Free

Join us for some great stories, a little art and a little science.

Book a Private Visit to the Bear's Den

Pre-K groups can schedule their own Polar Bear Den experience for only $3 per child. After a fun craft, choose from an animal or planetarium program. Sign up by contacting Debby Hinson at 477-3232 ext. 115

YOUTH ALIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

In addition, join the awesome opportunities to be a TA (teacher assistant) for the Youth Alive Development Program. Creative and energetic people ages 11-15 are needed to fulfill a dynamic spot in our Discovery House to oversee the Kaleidoscope program. Community service hours, super Museum perks and other great bonuses are just the beginning to exciting adventures that await! Hours are Monday's 3:30-5:30pm and Saturday's, 1-4pm. The program will run through the school year and we will work with all schedules. Please call 477-3232 ext. 124 for details.

Learn amazing sounds of birds, view various species of butterflies and more in our new Gus Kaufman Bird Window. Equipped with texts, sound and visual beauty, this is a wonderful place to learn and relax and be one with nature!

The Globe Room has been elevated to awesome heights! Travel anywhere and everywhere virtually from the new International Globe Room. Book a trip to an exotic place, explore a country you have never heard of, make a passport, learn about foreign exchange rates, maps and flags. Discover cultural diversity and travel abroad on the main level of the Discovery House in the Museum of Arts and Sciences!
